Phuong Vu believes that arts can bring out the abundance of the soul for people and serve as a wonderful environment for achieving gender equality, inclusion and driving equity for diverse cultural communities through projects such as the Vietnam Youth Orchestra and the VYMI Educoncert Series, etc.
Her projects have won several awards, including the UN-Habitat Peace Designing Award and the Friendship Award from the Korean Cultural Center. In 2023, she was recognized by Hanoi Grapevine as one of Vietnam's 11 most active curators.
Phuong co-founded the Initiative of Children's Book Creative Content (ICBC) in 2022 to enrich children's understanding of themselves and the world through diverse educational programs and artistic activities.
She enjoys mentoring, particularly women and those exploring new roles in the arts, culture, and education, helping them build confidence and unlock their potential. Phuong draws inspiration from the small, everyday accomplishments that lead to extraordinary transformations.
Through AVYLD, Phuong aims to strengthen bilateral relationships by promoting sustainable cultural exchange and education, aligning with SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). Her goal is to create impactful, long-lasting connections that empower future generations.
