Nguyen is currently an AI researcher at IBM Australia based in Melbourne where he is developing research techniques and applications in the natural language processing and deep learning fields. Previously, Nguyen was a data scientist at an Australian Government agency. Nguyen wants to see Australia’s research and technology sector being a global leader. His aspiration is to become a founder of a company that provides a core technology that will dramatically improve society on a large scale. Nguyen holds a Bachelor of Computer Science (First Class Honours) and a PhD in Engineering and Computer Science at ANU.
