With over 8 years working for Vietnam Airlines, in her current role, Huong works to research, develop, and innovate the in-flight service of a world-class 5-star airline.

Huong also actively involves herself in sustainable development projects and works closely with social enterprises. One of her key achievements includes launching an in-flight program that rescued more than 12 million surplus food, beverage, and equipment items and helped deliver over 2 tons of quality food to underserved communities in 2023. The program was honored with the Boldest Move Award by SkyTeam Alliance in the same year.

Advocating for sustainable development and helping disadvantaged communities are what bring Huong joy. She is inspired by Ms. Ronni Kahn AO - an Australian passionate advocate and activist, who founded OzHarvest, a leading food rescue charity.

Through AVYLD, Huong’s goal is to share best practices and initiatives in the airline industry, which she believes can drive progress on SDG 5 (Gender Equality), SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), and SDG 13 (Climate Action).
