With extensive experience across sectors, Celia possesses diverse skills in leadership, management, policy, communications and stakeholder engagement. Celia is deeply passionate about inclusion and dedicated to supporting diverse communities, in particular through a gender equity lens.
Her contributions have been recognised through numerous accolades including the prestigious 2016 Premier’s Volunteer of the Year Award, and was a finalist for the Australian Human Rights Commission’s 2017 Awards. In 2020, Celia was named the youngest recipient of the Institute of Public Administration Australia (IPAA) Victoria Top 50 Public Sector Women, and in 2021 was named in the 40 Under 40 Most Influential Asian Australians list and winner for the Government and Public Sector category.
Celia is currently Manager at Scanlon Foundation Research Institute, and volunteers as a Board Director for Western Chances, dedicated to supporting disadvantaged young people to access their full educational potential through scholarships.
She is also founder and Co-President of the Vietnamese Australian Professional Network, a volunteer-led collective providing a platform for Vietnamese Australians to connect through their unique cultural heritage and professional work experiences.
