Amy Phan is an MBA graduate from Western Sydney University with a diverse background in both the private and development sectors. As part of her role as the Sustainability and ESG Portfolio Manager at the USAID Improving Private Sector Competitiveness project, she collaborates closely with the Vietnamese government to spearhead the adoption of ESG practices and sustainable business models among SMEs.

Additionally, she co-founded and manages Seed Planter, a business incubator to promote social entrepreneurship and nurture impact businesses in Vietnam through startup bootcamps and community events. Since 2018, Seed Planter has incubated nearly 20 impact businesses across different sectors, notably agriculture, education, and recycling.

Amy is eager to collaborate with Australian businesses and investors to facilitate knowledge exchange and forge partnerships that drive innovative solutions to climate change and sustainable financing. Through such collaborative efforts, she hopes to contribute to the achievements of UN SDGs, notably SDG 8, 5, 12, 13 and 17.

Her life motto: “When the 'Why' is strong enough, the 'How' will come.”
