Caroline Hartnett

Caroline Hartnett has been appointed as the director of Study Melbourne, moving on from her role as deputy director which she held for three and a half years.

Caroline has worked in policy, advisory and analytic roles in relation to the Australian education sector for over a decade.

Having worked for a number of years in international education for the Victorian Government, Caroline is passionate about supporting education providers and businesses to access global markets and maintaining Victoria’s position as a destination of choice for international students.

Upon being appointed, Caroline said: “It’s a tough time in the sector to formally step into this role but I’m confident that with the awesome Study Melbourne team onshore and offshore, world-class Victorian education providers and talented international students and graduates we will be able to work together to successfully get through to the other side.”
