AVLD Board Director and AVYLD 2019 alumnus Andrew is the Co-Founder and CEO of GuardRails, a leading AppSec platform that empowers security and software development teams to fix vulnerabilities early and release faster. With over 20 years of experience in executive leadership, business strategy, and technology consulting, Andrew has a proven track record of driving innovation and strategic growth across industries.

Previously, Andrew was the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Audience Media, where he developed the world’s first multi-channel editorial management system, serving high-profile clients like The New York Times and National Geographic. Following the acquisition of Audience Media by Zinio in 2014, Andrew became the CTO of Zinio, overseeing global technology operations and partnerships with major companies such as Apple, Google, Samsung, Microsoft, Amazon, and IBM. He led engineering efforts that brought over 1,500 production iOS and Android applications to market for the world’s leading consumer media brands.

Andrew has also founded several other companies, including Aversafe, a tech company focused on reducing credential fraud and improving graduate mobility in emerging economies; Quiqcorp Limited, an IT service holding company; and Artists.co.nz, a platform supporting creative talent. He has served as an advisor to several technology startups and has worked with clients like the New Zealand Government, The Wall Street Journal, and Gaastra.

Andrew focuses on applying technology to solve business challenges and is an active startup advisor and investor.
